ABSTRACT
It is a marvelous time to be associated with the field of aviation. Airplanes have become quieter and more efficient and simulators have gotten cheaper as well as more realistic. In navigation, it is now possible to accurately cover long distances and to execute instrument approaches procedures in a more accurate and reliable way. The days of high-technology in aviation seem to be upon us.
