ABSTRACT
Ahalfdaysessionwasheldatthe24thEAAPConferenceinCrieff(Scotland),4-8 September2000.Themainstructureofthissessionwasbasedonthemethodology andexperiencewhichcomesfromseveralprojectsfundedbytheEuropean CommissionEC.Theseprojectsweresetuptomaintainandenhanceairsafetyin Europe.Airlinerepresentatives,researchinstitutionsanduniversitiespresented theirjointwork.TheyallworkedtogetherintheECfundedJAR-TELproject. Papersandpresentationsreportedempiricalresultswhichenlightenthenontechnicalskillsassessmentanditspracticabilityintraining.Anoutlookforthe potentialuseofnon-technicalskillsassessmentinpilotlicensingwasalsogiven.
