ThischapterreviewstheexperiencewhichAlitaliacouldmakebytheapplication ofNOTECHSinitsregularlineandsimulatortraining.TogiveAlitalia's contributiontotheoperationalvalidationofNOTECHSandtocomplementthe experimentaldata(seeO'ConnorandHormanninthisbook)withfeedbackfrom airlineinstructors(TypeRatingInstructors)andcheckpilots(TypeRating Examiners),thesamegroupofexpertsthatparticipatedintheratingofvideo scenarioswasinvitedtousetheNOTECHSscoreformsinregularlineand simulatorchecks.Itisworthnotingthatthisgroupwasarandomchoice.
