ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the display of electronic information in the cockpit and the process used to assess various Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and surveillance system needs and options in defining how best to display operational information. This is based on an industry effort, the Pilot Information Display (PID) Working Group, formed to plan and implement an EFB concept that enables optimum information management for pilots, maintenance and operations personnel.
