ABSTRACT
The introduction of computer-based training systems within advanced technology environments is becoming increasingly prevalent as the costs associated with training and education increase. Computer-based systems are often perceived as a cost-effective means of providing information, since information acquisition is not necessarily limited to a particular time frame or venue. Furthermore, there are mechanisms that allow the evaluation of learning outcomes and the provision of feedback in the absence of human intervention.
