ABSTRACT
The development centre represents the most significant evolution in the area of assessment centres. With today’s organisations facing increased global competition and an environment of accelerating change, the need to adopt new ways of working is greater than ever before. Development centres have steadily ‘come of age’, as it has been recognised that they can play an important role in helping organisations meet these challenges.
