The Newberry copy lacks the portrait ofBehn. The same works appear in the same order in Familiar Letters of Love,
Gallantry, and Several Other Occasions (London: For Sam. Briscoe, 1724). In the second volume (pp. 45-49), there are four letters by Mrs. J. Price to
Madam Robert, indicating a certain familiarity, one letter speaking of how drunk they got one Saturday evening. These are first printed in Familiar Letters, vol. 2 (London: For Sam. Briscoe, 1697).
