ABSTRACT
Arguments consist of statements. But some arguments can be seen to be valid or invalid even if we know nothing about the internal structure or contents of the statements involved. The logic that deals with arguments of this kind is known as Statement or Propositional logic. In Statement Logic, we do not make use of term letters at all since terms are internal to the statements involved. Instead we use lower case statement letters. Each such letter represents a whole statement.
