ABSTRACT

Recently I had an occasion to shop for a new television. I started out by visiting several big name electronic stores. Everywhere I went there were models of all kinds and sizes, each with their special features highlighted. One feature that most of television sets included was the one called a picture within a picture. As most of you know, this feature allows you to watch a primary show on one channel with sound while in the corner of the main screen a second channel can be inserted as a smaller picture without sound. In this way, you are able to keep track of what is going on on more than one station at a time. It is a great feature, especially for those interested in sports. If you see something going on that interests you in the secondary picture, and you want to watch that channel as your primary picture, all you need to do is press the swap button on your remote control and instantly the primary and secondary pictures on your television change places.
