ABSTRACT

As project manager working within the library community, whilst lecturing in a higher education (HE) institution on a part-time basis and having recently been a Masters student (MSc Innovation Studies), I had a unique personal perspective on the perceptions of three primary stakeholder groups impacted upon by the project: students, academics and academic support staff (IT, library staff, computer services and others). Whilst much of the material in this chapter is drawn from project reports and presentations (Phoenix, 1997a), the views expressed here are mine and should not be taken to represent the official views of any of the universities involved in Project Phoenix.
