ABSTRACT

Remember the hamburger model from the previous chapter? Great facilitators stay vegetarian: they don’t get involved with the ‘meat’ that represents the actual risks. But risk facilitators do need to have the lettuce and tomato as well as the bun – they are responsible for making it easy for the group to implement really effective risk management. To do that they need to be well versed in risk management principles, tools and techniques, as well as being able to demonstrate all the qualities of a great facilitator.
