ABSTRACT
It is clear from the previous chapters that climate change has the potential to pose risks to, and create opportunities for, an organisation. These risks and opportunities are best considered within a risk management framework, which defines responsibilities for dealing with risk and establishes a risk management process for addressing risk. Figure 5.1 shows the general risk management framework and risk management process under the international standard ISO31000:2009, which has been embedded in many national standards.
