Learning today of [Roberto] Pucci's death and the vacancy of Melfi, write on behalf of [Tommaso] Caselli. 1 Because of the 1000 ducat pension on Melfi, the see is not much different in value from Bertinoro. If the pope gives it to someone who has a poor bishopric in the kingdom [of Naples], such as [Girolamo] Verallo who has Rossano where Caselli was born, let the pope at least adjust the pensions so that Caselli has a decent income.
