ABSTRACT
The People's Show in Walsall has always been acelebration ofthe things people collect, things which are normally hidden behind front doors, never seen by anyone except elose friends and family. Over two hundred collectors have proudly exhibited their collections in Walsall Museum and Art Gallery over the last few years, including Smartie tops, customised ties, pinball machines, Madonna memorabilia, air line travel siek bags, stolen hotel soaps, pigs and all things purple, to name but a few.
