ABSTRACT
Utz was the owner of a spectacular collection of Meissen porcelain wh ich, through his adroit manoeuvres, had survived the Second World War and the years of Stalinism in Czechoslovakia. By 1967 it numbered over a thousand pieces - all crammed into the tiny two-roomed flat on Sirokä Street.
