ABSTRACT
As befits the eurrent topography of the intellectual terrain we seek to traverse, then, our thoughts are neeessarily fragmented, partial and, we hope, provoeative. We have shared them in hopes of stimulating an ongoing dialogue, both with our colleagues on the project, and more diffusely with all who aspire to a dceper understanding of the dynamics of contcntious politics.
