ABSTRACT

Having spent several years working with of the most successful suppliers of project management software, chiefly in the field of major projects (petrochemical, nuclear, construction and aeronautics), I moved to France in the mid-1980s to develop the methodology and training courses for a contracting and consulting company in the European space sector. At this time the methods used for project management on large projects were becoming more and more standardized. Subsequently, the project management focus moved onwards to smaller team-based activities in a wide variety of industries.
