The team may feel like giving up. They are unfamiliar with the disturbance, distress and discomfort that fill the scene when a project sets sail. Emotions are high; rationality struggles to find its place. Or else, depending on your perspective, hard-hearted rationality rides roughshod over social and personal sensibilities. Decisions are taken tempestuously or discussions go on interminably with no clear decisions. The situation is rife with differences.
