ABSTRACT
The competition is always improving. Therefore, innovation is vital. Innovation requires extraordinary commitment and cross-disciplinary cooperation. Sadly, the reality in most companies is most likely to be turf wars and mutual incomprehension. Different disciplines often know too little about each other to be able to work together effectively. Harmonies and synergies can only arise when there is mutual respect – and respect comes from understanding.
