ABSTRACT
Curiously, no study has scrutinised the origins of organised Positivism in relation to the rise of modern architecture. More than any other group, the British Positivists were responsible for popularizing this comprehensive system of life, which was considered capable of ringing in a glorious epoch of global happiness and harmony.
