ABSTRACT

The development and the deployment of the business-strategy are too complex to leave it to a few people on the top floor. The business-strategy is deployed top down, but the tactics and the actions perk up bottom up. Furthermore, the deployment of the plans must also be worked out horizontally at the different levels, i.e. inside/out and outside/in. The platform of agile management manages project-by-project. The Model of the Two Rings lays down the foundations of the systems of management. The Model of the Two Rings gets a lot of people thinking and interacting with other people on each of the 3 principal management practices, i.e. the development and the deployment of the business-strategies, the organizational deployment, and the reviews–evaluations–recognition system. The fact that the enterprise's strategic resources are deployed project- by-project over the 5 value-chains helps the senior management to get down to the necessary level of details.
