ABSTRACT

The third principle of the platform of agile management concerns the modus operandi of the agile organization, which is designed to create business-value faster and more efficiently. The author simplifies the characteristics of agile management to what the he refers to as the triple "A", i.e. alertness-adaptability-agility. The business environment has become way too complex and too complicated to be managed top down by a despotic hierarchy with a rigid set of tools and techniques. Technology has contributed to simplify and to accelerate the management of the business processes. Agility has become increasingly important, but it does not perform as a stand-alone. So, the triple "A" of agile is based on the linkage of 3 organizational capabilities, namely: alertness-adaptability-agility: alertness to see or to foresee new elements, adaptability to change the modus operandi so as to be more efficient, and agility to be simple, smart, and swift.
