This chapter has been designed to give you exercises that will help you to experiment, explore and create when devising. The opening of this chapter features exercises from the The Paper Birds to start you on the road to devising imaginative and innovative theatre with a stimulus of your choice. The second section gives you some exercises to help create and structure your drama with the closing section featuring exercises based on the ideas of Edward Gordon Craig.
