ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding chapters of this book. The book explains the worker's judgements of his situation by reconstructing them in the terms of psychological analysis. The reconstructions that have been set out may or may not be credible in general, but they can be accepted only with certain reservations that derive from the nature of the project. These reservations must be considered in detail, but the reader who is prepared to take them for granted can proceed directly to the general conclusions. The book describes the analysis made was of the worker's judgements of his situation only, and not of his behaviour at work, for the reasons. It discusses first column of the table of course that shows the classification of immediate bosses that was made from their own reports of their behaviour.
