BASIC REFERENCES INVOLVING MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTING begin with curricular materials and reports from the Committee on the Undergraduate Curriculum in Mathematics (CUPM) of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). Just as ACM joins with IEEE-CS about every decade to produce curricular guidelines for undergraduate computing programs, the MAA’s CUPM releases recommendations for undergraduate mathematics programs about every decade.
