ABSTRACT

Quality has been part of the public policy agenda of every nation. Literature on higher education shows a revitalized interest in quality practices including international rankings of universities and accreditation. Studies on the quality of education have tended to occupy an increasingly important place in Mexican society. The rapid deterioration in the quality of higher education in Mexico. In the field of higher education, the role of infrastructure is to support teaching and enable learning and research the value added that the facilities can bring to higher education institutions is associated with student recruitment, namely giving a good image of a university. However, although the relationship between physical infrastructure and student learning is complex, a growing body of evidence has established the link between the quality of school facilities and learning and student achievement. Competition is intensifying in the sector of higher education, for both public and private institutions.
