ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on key concepts covered in the book. The book shows that one has to replace humans at the core of action, in order to produce economic value and anthropological values, which are inseparable. It lies on a multidisciplinary approach and more than half a century of research in economy, management science and human and social sciences. The notion of sustainability is intrinsic to the notion of individual and collective responsibility. The book inscribes in the history of economic and social facts, and it is viable nowadays. Socially responsible capitalism (SRC) constitutes an economic system, which contributes to the democracy and feeds from it. The servitude of the state lies principally on the principle of a state that is respectful of the individual and private, associative and public socially decentralized groups. The press played an historical, educative role in the advent and progresses of democracy, thus in its opening to the world.
