ABSTRACT
Although PM is still not generally considered an academic discipline (Turner, 2006), there is a growing amount of academic work being done on PM. A part of this work is embedded in academic programmes, both on the undergraduate and graduate level. Worldwide, several hundreds of graduate programmes in PM exist, while PM is also a core course in many programmes in general management, engineering, architecture and facilities management.
