ABSTRACT
Anyone who has not heard the term “big data” must have been living under a pretty big rock during the last decade or so. With Moore’s law continuing to deliver its fantastic progress, computing is increasingly powerful and can churn through vast amounts of data, continuously as well as in response to queries. We read about amazing new insights that have been derived by sifting through vast amounts of data and correlating different variables.
