ABSTRACT
Technical developments in man-made fi bre production, processing as well as its applications are mostly infl uenced by structure and structural developments of both new and existing polymers for fi bre formation. The end-use properties and thus applications are dependent upon the structure developed. It is essential to know the structure of the material as well as the structure developed during processing such that the end-use properties can be controlled or modifi ed for the specifi ed applications. So the analysis of the structure, as well as the structural measurements is essential for understanding the relationship between the structure and properties of the material.
