ABSTRACT

As the subtitle indicates, this is intended to offer a background in all the fundamentals of broadcasting. This edition is an extensive revision of the 1941 text and is updated to include material on specific forms of broadcasting such as amplitude modulation, wired and wireless systems, frequency modulation, transit radio, low power, closed-circuit and color television, facsimile, and audio-fax. A 4th edition was published in 1957.
