ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters of this book. The book provides novices, journeymen, and expert photographers as appropriate, and that it might also prove useful to anyone who endeavors to capture that singular moment of excitement created by the many types of live performance that are to be found across the world. It is primarily for the student who is getting ready to transition into the professional world and needs to show a portfolio of their work. The book helps the photographer to capture the best rendition of their work so that they can communicate their abilities and creativity. Photography has many inherent challenges to begin with, and when photographer add the complicating factors of working in low light, with very limited time, and with a complex assembly of people, scenery, costumes, and lighting, it becomes quite a daunting task.
