ABSTRACT
This chapter starts by examining recent attempts by some philosophers to show that romantic love is a moral emotion. I argue that they all fail. I then argue that there is a way to show that romantic love is a moral emotion, but that it is a weak or limited way. The chapter ends with a discussion about whether it is prudent to have romantic love in our lives.
