ABSTRACT

THE CASE My son Josh had helped me find a suitable nursing home. He had taken leave from work to visit different locations, the dear. Eventually he suggested I should choose Cloverfield Convalescence and Nursing Home to recover from my hip replacement surgery. It had a cosy dining room with a lovely view over the rolling countryside hills, Josh said. The rooms were tidy and relatively spacious. I had hardly nodded my head before Josh paced to the nurses’ station to organise that my postoperative transfer would be set in motion. Fortunately they had room, and so it transpired that I was transferred to Cloverfield Convalescence and Nursing Home 2 days after my surgery.
