ABSTRACT
TO REACH SENIOR management you must learn to present an effective 'operating' style. This not only concerns the way you perform, but also how you present yourself as a manager, especially when dealing with others. The male managerial culture has several such operating styles. However, no acceptable general female management style exists, let alone one for top female executives. The male models prevail with most women adapting their behaviour to these standards.
