ABSTRACT

Most leaders will extol the benefits of data. The paradox occurs when leaders and leadership teams fail to implement processes to regularly use the information derived from data through analysis. Believe it or not, I have sat in meetings where important decisions and discussions took place without one crumb of data. Instead, the team talked about they, all, most, and everywhere. Who are they and do we know what they need or want? And, just how many is all or most? Where does the problem occur? Everywhere tells us nothing.
