ABSTRACT
Criminals apply techniques in order to make them feel as though they have not done any wrong. These techniques represent neutralization techniques, whereby the feeling of guilt decreases and possibly disappears (Gottschalk, 2016). In convenience theory, a supporting theory in the behavioral dimension of crime is neutralization theory. The briber and bribed both may think they do nothing wrong by public procurement corruption.
