The first text is from an English collection published in 1694; the second from the Relation du Groenland, Paris, 1663; the third is the text of Edward Pelham's tract, London, 1631. The supplementary material consists of the 1855 annual report. This is a new print-on-demand hardback edition of the volume first published in 1855.
