ABSTRACT
This chapter presents SAS code that can be used to conduct a meta-analysis of correlations with an emphasis on the Hunter and Schmidt approach, also referred to as the validity generalization procedure (Hunter & Schmidt, 1990a; Hunter et al., 1982; Schmidt & Hunter, 1977). The development of Hunter and Schmidt’s validity generalization technique was in response to the situational specificity hypothesis.
