ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we introduce the first of many nonexperimental research methodologies—causal-comparative research. Similarly to what we did in the previous two chapters, we briefly describe the nature of causal-comparative research and then present an example of how it might be applied in schools (or other agencies and organizations). We then present a published example of single-subject research, followed by an activity to enable you to experience using some aspect(s) of the methodology yourself.
