ABSTRACT
This case portrays issues involved with introducing the Internet into a classroom. Although making Internet connections is important, the most important issues underlying any use of educational technology are the human issues. Educators are most interested in how teachers and children are using specific technologies, rather than in what specific technologies they are using. This case illustrates how class-room teachers can make classrooms more democratic through electronic connections.
