Development of an Interactive Video Assessment: Trials and Tribulations

Interactive video (IAV) computerized assessment uses full-motion video dis played on a computer monitor and sound provided via speakers or head phones. Assessees watch video clips that can be comparable in quality to color television and, at critical junctures, are asked multiple-choice questions. For some questions, the response option that is selected determines the next video clip to be viewed by the assessee.
