Blood, Sweat, and Tears: Some Final Comments on Computerized Assessment
The contributing authors in this book are pioneers in the true sense of the word. Despite the prevalence of personal computers in educational and orga nizational settings, their use as tools for innovative assessment has been lim ited. Consequently, there is very little information available about how to address the psychometric, administrative, and technological issues raised by nontraditional computerized assessment. However, this book’s chronicling of the authors’ experiences in this unchartered territory can serve as a blueprint for others who may be interested in computerized assessment.
