ABSTRACT
Nearly everything about student questioning remains open for reflection, for investigation, and especially for action. Here, I venture into three of these openings.
What is student questioning or question asking? In answering we will see a conception of the process of student questioning, giving us an idea of what we are talking about when we say, "a student asks a question" and when we engage in research and practice of student questions.
