ABSTRACT
The human genetic code is very similar to that of other great apes. No doubt some of the difference is responsible for the superior strength and stamina of most non-human apes, but much of the rest must explain why, while most species of ape struggle to survive, humans have expanded their range to most of the earth’s surface and beyond, and are well on the way to making the planet an uncomfortable, if not impossible, place on which to live.
