ABSTRACT
During this precious six-to-eight month period, for the junior toddler (ten-twelve to sixteen-eighteen months) the world is his oyster. The child concentrates on practicing his mastery of his own skills and autonomous capacities. He is exhilarated by his own capacities, continually delighted with the discoveries he is making in his expanding world, quasi-enamored with the world and with his own omnipotence.
