ABSTRACT
This chapter examines autonomic and brain electrical measures of arousal and
responsiveness to stimulation in childhood autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
(ADHD), and antisocial/conduct disorder. The most commonly studied autonomic
measures are heart rate (HR) and skin conductance (electrodermal activity).
