ABSTRACT
If it is agreed that reading achievement can be replaced by the more precise construct of efficiency level, EL, as was advocated in the preceding chapter, then it becomes important to analyze the primary factors that influence EL. In the causal model, accuracy level is one of the two factors at Echelon 2 that are causal for EL-along with rate level which will be described in detail in the next chapter.
