ABSTRACT

Writing about science and other technical subjects such as medicine and health can be doubly rewarding. You can provide an educational service to readers who learn about the latest medical or engineering developments. This, in turn, helps readers to live more complete, en joyable, and fulfilling lives. Increasingly, this is a major role of the science feature writer in our society. But for some reason, there has been a science phobia among most feature writers (Dahir, 1995).
