For American Indian people and indige, nous people around the world who have suffered the ravages of colonization, this becomes especially true as they set out to build educational institutions to serve their communities. A strong core of ethics, a clear set of professional ed, ucation principles, and a worldview of their own can and should be their guid, ing force as they build their dream educational institution.
